It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today.\nWe’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level.\nJoin us and let’s shape the future of data.\n JOB SUMMARY\nThe Process Engineer is responsible for process development, optimization, qualification, and continuous improvement of substrate manufacturing processes to ensure stable, reliable, and high-quality output. Chemical, mechanical, and optical process parameters are monitored, analysed and optimized to achieve consistent substrate quality and performance. Process documentation, safety standards, and technician training are developed, while process projects, substrate characterization, and manufacturing capability development are supported.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProcess parameters are developed, optimized, and maintained to achieve consistent product quality and meet specification requirements.\nProcess troubleshooting and root cause analysis are performed on quality issues, yield losses, and process excursions.\nNew process development and qualification activities are planned and executed for new product introduction and technology transfers.\nDesign of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis are conducted to improve process capability and yield.\nIn-line and offline process monitoring data are collected, analyzed, and reviewed to identify trends and drive corrective actions.\nProcess, equipment, quality, and manufacturing teams are collaborated with to identify problems, develop solutions, and drive improvements.\nNew materials, chemicals, and process consumables are evaluated and qualified for manufacturing use.\nFMEA activities are supported to identify potential process risks during new product introduction and process changes.\nCorrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans are developed, implemented, and tracked to closure.\nSOPs, process specifications, safety procedures, environmental requirements, and HIRAC documentation are prepared and maintained.\nCollaborate with Suppliers and external partners to evaluate and qualify new process materials and technologies.\nProcess improvement projects are supported to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and production capability.\nAI and data analytics tools are leveraged as an advantage to enhance process monitoring, predictive analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n REQUIRED:\nCurrently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field.\nFresh graduates with relevant engineering qualifications are encouraged to apply.\nPREFERRED:\nStrong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in process engineering, materials characterization, or manufacturing processes\nGood problem-solving, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and analytical skills related to process and quality issues\nExperience or strong interest in AI, data analytics, machine learning applications in manufacturing, statistical process control (SPC), and new process technologies\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
