In this role, you will be responsible for managing Sputter Target inventory, ensuring quality standards, and optimizing material specifications to support our semiconductor and advanced materials manufacturing operations. You will work collaboratively with production, procurement, and engineering teams to maintain the highest quality standards while driving operational efficiency.\nCollaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve quality concerns, negotiate specifications, and ensure continuous improvement in material delivery\nManage Sputter Target inventory, including procurement planning, stock level optimization, and supplier coordination to ensure consistent material availability\nDevelop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and testing protocols for Sputter Target materials to meet Sputter Media specifications and process requirements\nConduct comprehensive quality inspections and analysis of incoming materials, including dimensional verification, material composition analysis, and surface quality assessment\nPerform root cause analysis on quality issues and non-conformances, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence\nMaintain detailed records and documentation of all quality testing, material certifications, and compliance data in accordance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements\nAnalyze quality data and trends using statistical methods to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction\nSupport production teams by providing technical guidance on material handling, storage, and application best practices for sputter targets\n Required :\nBackground in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Physics or related technical field\nAt least 2 years of working experience\nResult oriented and solution driven thinker\nExperience in the semiconductor or advanced materials manufacturing industry\nFamiliarity with ERP or inventory management systems\nKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma\nExperience in vendor management and supplier quality negotiations\nPreferred :\nProven experience in quality assurance, quality control, or materials management within manufacturing or semiconductor industries\nStrong knowledge of Sputter Target materials, specifications, and industry standards\nProficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation for quality metrics\nSolid understanding of ISO quality management systems and compliance requirements\nExcellent organizational and inventory management skills with experience in supply chain coordination\nSkills :\nDemonstrated ability to analyze technical data and conduct root cause analysis\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document procedures and findings clearly\nProficiency in using laboratory testing equipment and quality control instruments\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
