It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today.\nWe’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level.\nJoin us and let’s shape the future of data.\n The Test Process Technician 3 independently supports daily PN Test manufacturing operations by performing test head activities, software troubleshooting, software deployment support, process and equipment qualification activities, and technical support to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production performance.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nTest Head Operations\nPerform test head setup, deployment, handling, inspection, and qualification activities in accordance with engineering requirements and procedures.\nConduct test head condition assessments and assist in failure analysis and defect investigations.\nMaintain test head inventory records, tracking, and movement coordination to support production and engineering requirements.\nCoordinate test head repair logistics and maintain accurate repair status documentation.\nPerform microscope inspections for contamination assessment, defect identification, and test head condition verification.\nMonitor test head performance and report abnormalities to engineering for disposition and corrective actions.\nGlide, TDS & Software Support\nSupport Glide and TDS activities, including specification reviews, process monitoring, rescreen execution, and data collection.\nPerform software troubleshooting for testers, robots, Test Cell Controllers.\nDiagnose software-related failures, configuration issues, and system faults, and implement corrective actions within established procedures.\nSupport Test Cell Controller setup, recipe configuration, and parameter verification for production and engineering lots.\nEscalate complex software and system issues to engineering teams for further analysis and resolution.\nAssist in validating software fixes, patches, and updates prior to production deployment.\nMaintain accurate records of software issues, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.\nSoftware Propagation & Configuration Control\nExecute software propagation activities according to approved deployment plans and procedures.\nSupport software deployment schedules to minimize production disruption.\nPerform pre- and post-deployment verification to confirm software integrity and system functionality.\nMaintain software version records and verify equipment alignment to approved software baselines.\nSupport engineering and IT teams in software change control and release activities.\nDocument deployment activities, validation results, and deviations in accordance with established procedures.\nEngineering & Process Support\nAssist engineers in equipment, process, and test head qualification activities, including data collection and documentation.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to test head utilization, software reliability, and operational efficiency.\nParticipate in failure investigations and provide technical observations and recommendations.\nProvide feedback to engineering teams regarding process, procedure, and work instruction improvements.\nOperational Excellence\nShare technical knowledge and provide support to Technician 1 and Technician 2 personnel when required.\nEnsure compliance with work instructions, standard operating procedures, and engineering requirements.\nMaintain accurate records of inventory, software versions, repairs, and operational activities.\nEnsure compliance with ISO requirements, EHS regulations, cleanroom protocols, and company policies.\nMaintain good housekeeping practices for work areas, equipment, and storage locations.\n Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing, test operations, equipment support, or related environments.\nExperience in test equipment operation, test head handling, maintenance support, or process support.\nExperience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, automated systems, or software-related issues.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nGood communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.\nWillingness to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of manufacturing safety requirements, including PPE usage and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
