It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today.\nWe’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level.\nJoin us and let’s shape the future of data.\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSet up, troubleshoot, and recover complex downtime issues for test equipment, including Testcell, Tester, Bagger, VDCS, and Conveyor systems, with minimal supervision.\nProven experience leading and supporting Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, enhance OEE, and optimize manufacturing processes.\nTroubleshoot and resolve Testcell yield issues to maintain product quality, throughput, and equipment stability.\nConduct detailed investigations for quality incidents related to test equipment, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\nPerform product conversions, equipment setup, calibration, and optimization to support various production and engineering requirements.\nMonitor and analyze KPIVs using tools such as KPOV database, OEE tracking, Maintenance Logs, and Digital Preventive Maintenance systems to identify trends and drive equipment improvement actions.\nDrive and support equipment upgrades, automation improvements, reliability enhancement, and continuous improvement projects to improve equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.\nAct as a technical trainer and mentor for test equipment, supporting upskilling and knowledge transfer activities within the team.\nPerform equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and checklist verification in accordance with standard operating procedures and engineering requirements.\nSupport engineers in daily technical activities, machine evaluations, qualifications, and special projects.\nDemonstrate strong critical thinking and troubleshooting capability in identifying complex equipment issues and making effective technical decisions under high-pressure production conditions.\nMaintain strong attention to detail and observation skills to identify abnormalities, equipment degradation, and potential failure indicators early.\nQuickly learn and adapt to new equipment, technologies, and manufacturing processes with minimal guidance.\nEnsure compliance with ISO standards, documentation practices, ESD requirements, and manufacturing procedures.\nAdhere strictly to all safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements, and cleanroom protocols.\n REQUIRED:\nDiploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics and Mechanical. \n2-5 years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.\nPREFERRED:\nExperience with PLC basics and troubleshooting automation/controls.\nExposure to preventive and predictive maintenance tools\nExperience with Test & Measurement equipment\nAdded advantage for candidates with hands-on experience in PCB repair and electronic circuit troubleshooting, including the use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, schematic interpretation and components replacements.\nSKILLS:\nMachine Installation & Commissioning\nAbility to perform mechanical and electrical installation of test equipment and conveyor systems\nExperience in equipment setup, alignment, and calibration per engineering specifications\nAble to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID diagrams, and wiring schematics\nFamiliar with utility hookup (power, vacuum, compressed air, chilled water)Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis\n\nProficient in systematic fault isolation using diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, PLC diagnostic software)\nAble to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum-related failure\nExperience with alarm analysis and root cause identification on automated equipment\nCapable of performing corrective and preventive maintenance (CM/PM)Equipment & Systems Knowledge\n\nFamiliarity with conveyor/material handling systems is an added advantage\nHands-on experience with automated test equipment (ATE) or similar production machinery\nBasic understanding of PLC/HMI systems (Mitsubishi, Siemens, or equivalent)\nKnowledge of motion control, servo drives, and sensorsElectrical & Mechanical Competency\n\nProficient in electromechanical assembly and disassembly\nAble to perform basic electrical panel wiring and cable management\n WD thrives on the power and potential of diversity.
