A reasonable estimate of the current range is: \nGrade: Faculty 504Pay Range: $60,600.00 - $90,900.00Job Description\nWhile working under the direction of Assessment Developers and leadership, the Associate Assessment Developer (Associate AD) is responsible for the development and maintenance of Western Governors University’s (WGU) objective and performance-based assessments. This individual facilitates design and development workshops using industry best practices to ensure assessment validity and reliability. The Associate AD will assist in identifying areas of opportunity to ensure effective and quality-driven processes.Responsibilities\nManages the design and development process for both objective and performance assessments, including milestones and timelines, and tracks progress\nCommunicates project status updates to cross-functional teams and stakeholders\nOrganizes and facilitates workshops for internal assessment development and review\nOversees subject matter expert involvement in the design, development, and review processes, as well as in the validation of an assessment’s congruency and accuracy\nMaintains assessment design and development standards to ensure assessment integrity\nIdentifies and notifies leadership of risks that may affect the quality or on-time delivery of assessments\nCollaborates with the assessment team and departmental leadership to execute assessment policies, processes, and best practices\nEnsures alignment and consistency of assessments to WGU’s business objectives\nDevelops and implements item- and exam-level scoring guidelines and validates the successful implementation of these guidelines\nParticipates in the assessment QA processes, identifying and resolving issues and trends, as required\nExecutes plans to maintain exam performance and implement necessary quality improvement adjustments throughout the exam lifecycle\nParticipates in cross-functional team to implement exam security measures\nQualifications\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nAbility to facilitate groups and meetings in person and remotely\nStrong written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills\nStrong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple projects effectively\nAbility to manage schedules and commitments\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree\nExperience\nTwo or more years of professional experience\nSuccessful progress towards advanced degree and applicable licenses or certifications\nExperience in lieu of education\nRelevant experience performing the essential functions of this job may substitute for the education requirement.
