You’llalso have the opportunity touse automation, scriptingand emerging technologies to improve processes and develop smarter, more efficient ways of working.\nYour Role in Action\nAnalyse asset performance data to identifycurrent and emerging trends, turning complex information into meaningful insights that support decision-making.\n\nValidate asset failures and their impacts, drawing together accurateand auditable information from multiple systems and data sources.\n\nDevelop dashboards and performance insights that support SMEs and contribute to Asset Performance Quarterly Reporting.\n\nInvestigate data discrepancies across corporate information systems and help ensure accurate and reliable information for internal and regulatory reporting.\n\nUse logic, scriptingand programming to automate and improve existing validation processes, reducing manual effort and improving consistency.\n\nSupport technical investigations, including information required for customer claims, Ministerial complaintsand asset performance analysis.\n\nContribute to Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) reviews and the ongoing improvement of failure validation processes.\n\nPartner with technical specialists and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop practical, robust data solutions.\n\nLook for opportunities to continuously improve the way data, tools and processes are used across the team.\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nDegree Qualification in Information Systems Management, Business Analysisor a related discipline\n\nExperience in a data and performance analysis environment, ideally within electrical utilities or another asset-intensive environment.\n\nProgramming or scripting capability using SQL, R, Python/Natural Language Processing and/or other relevant programming tools.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interrogate data and develop practical solutions.\n\nExperience improving data, tools and processes, with a genuine continuous improvement mindset.\n\nStrong attention to detail, particularly when working with information that supports formal reporting and technical decision-making.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical specialists and stakeholders.\n\nYou’llparticularly enjoy this role if you like variety, are comfortable working across different systems and stakeholders, and get satisfaction from finding better ways to use data, technologyand processes.\nBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
