Spanning across 120,000 square meters. With the latest infrastructure and technology, the depot empowers all employees to create that perfect work-life balance whilst operating in an inclusive and diverse workplace.\nYour Role in Action\nCarry out technical assessment of Inverter Embedded Generation (IEG) connections\n\nProduce and/or check designs and estimates for projects encompassing materials, labour, sub-contract services and costing for work associated with the Distribution Network. This will include the provision of specialist technical information\n\nUndertaking engineering investigations and to participate in process improvements\n\nProvide technical support across other work groups\n\nIdentify opportunities for performance improvement\n\nDocument variations to procedures, programmes and processes\n\nComplete all documentation, ordering of materials, entering and maintaining information in applicable computer systems\n\nUndertake contract administration to ensure contractor compliance to specification and identify non-conformances of contractors. This will include reviewing designs, work performance, works programs and preparing reports\n\nRespond to customer correspondence and answer questions from the general public, various Govt Dept’s and industry\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nDegree in Electrical Engineering\n\nEligible for corporate membership of The Institution of Engineers, Australia\n\nDemonstrated engineering experience, preferably in an electrical utility\n\nExperience in design management\n\nExperience in technical assessment of Inverter Embedded Generation (IEG) connections\n\nSound knowledge of engineering standards, regulations and procedures preferably within a Distribution network environment\n\nInteraction with others requires understanding, influencing and supporting people, through applying technical knowledge or rational arguments\n\nBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
