Accountable for portfolio performance and delivery outcomes, you will oversee program planning, governance, resourcing, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with business objectives.\nLeveraging strong analytical capabilities, you will interpret portfolio and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, translating insights into actionable strategies that optimise delivery, improve efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes. As a senior leader and trusted advisor, you will build and maintain influential relationships while representing Western Power in key engagements with industry partners, contractors, government agencies, and senior stakeholders.\nThis role is based at our new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, with regular travel to other Western Power offices and local project sites.\nYour Role in Action\nPlan for program success through the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance withbusiness requirements and the strategic goals of the organisation.\n\nDevelop and implement long-term goals and objectivesto achieve the successful outcome of the assigned program.\n\nDevelop strategic objectivesand project scope, establishproject teams and governance structures, establishbudget and resources and project manage from inceptionto approval.\n\nLead, coordinateand manage Western Power infrastructure projects to conclusion on time, within budget and in line with quality standards.\n\nEnsure that program activities operatein line with internal policies, frameworksand procedures.\n\nEnsure that program activities comply withall relevant legislation and professional standards.\n\nDetermine business information requirements and manage internal relationships to provide the necessary project support.\n\nDeliver infrastructure projects which achieve positive revenue and are also aligned with the strategic direction set by the Western Power Board.\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nBachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (preferred), Business Management, Economics, Project Management or Finance.\n\nA seasoned professional with broad and or deep range of knowledge and expertise gained through comprehensive experience i.e. 10+ years in senior programme/project management roles.\n\nSignificant experienced in managing large scale complex projects or programs of concurrent projects with multiple workstream’s.\n\nExperienced in managing major customer accounts where reputational impact is significant.\n\nExperienced in complex commercial and tender negotiations of significant value (value $50 + million plus contracts).\n\nComprehensive negotiation and relationship skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation including C Suite.\n\nAbility to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes.\n\nAbility to lead and influence project stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.\n\nBy joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
