Work cooperatively within the teams and across Western Power.\n\nCoordinate on site resources to deliver on planned outputs and ensure high levels of site management are maintained (including documentation, timekeeping, marking up of drawings, appropriate designation of safe work areas, housekeeping, certification/testing/tagging of tools, maintaining assigned tool inventory).\n\nExecute programmed construction, maintenance, and inspection work whilst monitoring, analysing and actively ensuring quality standards of work are achieved.\n\nUndertake a coordination role for emergency response situations, including undertaking tasks within your competency and training\n\nTake personal accountability for work performance and be open to other contributions. Work collaboratively within the team and across Western Power to effectively deliver objectives. Maintain open communication with team members and stakeholders.\n\nTake a lead in ensuring good customer relations are upheld when working in the field especially where there is direct contact with the public or stakeholders.\n\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nCertificate III in ESI - Power Systems Distribution / Transmission Overhead OR Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing.\n\nValid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence (subject to business requirements).\n\nDemonstrated industry experience in the construction and maintenance of the distribution electricity network.\n\nHOU and LOU Switching.\n\nG&B or Stick Live line is highly regarded but not essential.\n\nTraining in and solid performance through to Level 8 as per local business requirements.\n\nLeadership and Management (L&M) units.\n\nWork Health and Safety (WHS) units.\n\nBy joining Western Power,you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
