Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.\nRole Responsibilities\nDevelop, deploy, and maintain AI-powered solutions that support business analysis, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the GTM organization.\nBuild and manage AI agents that automate workflows, answer business questions, generate insights, and improve productivity.\nDesign and implement scalable AI workflows leveraging large language models (LLMs), retrieval frameworks, semantic search, and agentic architectures.\nMonitor AI solution performance and continuously optimize outputs, reliability, and business impact.\nDevelop and maintain business context, taxonomies, semantic models, and knowledge assets that improve AI accuracy and relevance.\nTranslate business terminology, operating metrics, and GTM processes into structured knowledge frameworks that can be leveraged by AI solutions.\nEnsure AI agents and models utilize accurate business definitions, KPIs, customer segmentation frameworks, and operational terminology.\nPartner with business stakeholders to continuously improve organizational knowledge assets and training data.\nLeverage AI tools and advanced analytics techniques to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and growth drivers.\nDeliver actionable insights that support customer acquisition, retention, transactions, revenue growth, and operational optimization.\nDevelop automated reporting, insight generation, and decision-support capabilities for GTM leaders.\nSupport strategic initiatives through data analysis, experimentation, forecasting, and performance measurement.\nServe as a central point of contact for AI capability requests across GTM and cross-functional organizations.\nEvaluate incoming business requests and prioritize opportunities based on business impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.\nGather requirements, define use cases, document success metrics, and coordinate solution delivery.\nEducate stakeholders on AI capabilities, best practices, and emerging technology opportunities.\nEnsure AI solutions comply with company policies, data governance standards, risk requirements, and responsible AI principles.\nDocument AI use cases, methodologies, processes, and implementation standards.\nResearch emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative applications that support Western Union’s digital growth strategy.\nContribute to the ongoing evolution of the GTM AI roadmap and capability portfolio.\nBuild effective partnerships across business and technical teams and communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.\nPromote innovation, curiosity, continuous learning, and serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders seeking AI-driven solutions.\nRole Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, business intelligence, data science, or a related discipline.\nExperience developing AI, machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics solutions.\nExperience translating business requirements into technical solutions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience working with cross-functional business stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to deliver high-quality AI solutions and measurable business outcomes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.\nExperience developing AI agents, copilots, knowledge assistants, or workflow automation solutions.\nExperience with LLM platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Snowflake Cortex, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or equivalent technologies.\nExperience with semantic search, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and agent orchestration frameworks.\nFamiliarity with SQL, Python, data visualization platforms, and cloud-based AI solutions.\nExperience in fintech, payments, digital commerce, financial services, or technology organizations.\nKnowledge of responsible AI, governance, and model evaluation best practices.\nExperience with machine learning, API integrations, cloud technologies, vector databases, data engineering concepts, or product analytics.\nWork Shift\nHYBRID - Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible.
