You will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and backend engineers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance front-end solutions. Experience in the fintech industry is highly desirable.\nDevelop high-quality, responsive web applications using Angular\nBuild scalable and resilient front-end applications\nDesign and deploy cloud native solutions on AWS\nCollaborate with product, architecture, and UX teams to deliver end-to-end features\nEnsure code quality through test driven development (TDD), code reviews, and best engineering practices\nProblem-solving, communication, and cross-functional and collaborative practices. \nRole Requirements\nMaster’s degree with 4 years of experience; bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience. Equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. \n4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.\n4+ years frontend skills with Angular (TypeScript/JavaScript).\n4+ experience in RESTful microservices architecture.\n3+ years of experience with cloud, preferably AWS (Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, etc.).\n3+ years experience with CI/CD, Docker, and modern DevOps practices\n3+ system design experience.\nPreferred Skills\nFintech experience (payments, risk, compliance, banking, etc.)\nKnowledge of security, authentication, and regulatory considerations\nUI/UX awareness and ability to work with design systems\nAWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification.\nWork Shift\nHYBRID - Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible.
