Decision-making responsibility may be shared with successive management levels.\nPlays a key role as a liaison between the AML Compliance Department and front-line business personnel, addressing inquiries related to business growth and compliance.\nResponsible for analyzing trends and developing recommendations for business policies. Supervises multiple staff members, forecasts staffing needs, and allocates resources to ensure the timely completion of work.\nResponsible for developing and motivating staff to achieve departmental objectives. Possesses a general working knowledge of management practices, as well as strong professional and administrative, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.\nExecutes policies that may affect the organizational unit and coordinates activities with stakeholders outside the department, as appropriate. \nRequirements\nAbility to manage projects and supervise up to 15 employees.\nKnowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance policies and procedures is an advantage.\nUnderstanding of applicable Money Services Business regulatory requirements, the Bank Secrecy Act, and their impact on the business.\nAbility to mentor team members. Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.\nIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.\nWorkplace Option\nHYBRID - Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
