Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Western Veterinary Partners is a veterinary support organization that affiliates with and supports general practice animal hospitals across the United States. The company provides non-clinical operational and administrative management, covering human resources, finance, marketing, and professional development programs. By handling day-to-day business operations, it enables veterinary teams to maintain clinical autonomy while focusing entirely on delivering high-quality patient care.

Meadowbrook Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused, and collaborative technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment-balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. The ideal candidate works well alongside fellow technicians and support staff, communicates effectively, and is willing to step in and support teammates to keep patient care and hospital workflows running smoothly.

We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, communication, and teamwork they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows while collaborating closely with other technicians, assistants, and veterinarians to maintain a consistent, high standard of care throughout each patient’s visit.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
  • Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
  • Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
  • Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
  • Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately
  • Identifying patient concerns and supporting efficient case management across the hospital
  • Building strong client relationships through education, communication, and attentive service

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.

Schedule and compensation:

  • Compensation: $21 - $24per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday, and rotating Saturdays. We are also open to part-time scheduling.

  • Life insurance and disability
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • 401k with company match
  • Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law
  • Personal pet discount
  • Uniform allowance

*Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law

  • 1+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Michigan**
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
    • Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
