regional, and global engagements.\nHow you will make an impact:\nAMS support (primary focus)\nAct as the main technical contact for AMS accounts, owning P1 and P2 technical incidents within agreed SLAs\nWork with functional consultants to analyse and resolve issues: debugging, short dumps (ST22), job failures, IDoc and interface errors, performance problems\nCoordinate with the Westernacher India development team, assigning and reviewing work and providing backup cover so critical tickets are never left unattended\nPerform root cause analysis and document fixes, workarounds and known errors\nParticipate in an on call or standby rota for critical incidents\nChange requests and enhancements\nEstimate, design, build and unit test ABAP solutions for CRs\nPrepare technical specifications and support functional consultants during testing and cutover\nManage transports and releases following customer change management processes\nPlatform coverage\nS/4HANA Private Cloud: classic and modern ABAP (reports, enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, forms, interfaces, CDS views, OData)\nS/4HANA Public Cloud: developer extensibility (ABAP Cloud, RAP, released APIs), key user extensibility, and side by side extensions on SAP BTP where needed\nApply the clean core principles so customers remain upgrade safe\nYour Expertise:\nDegree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience\nAt least 5 years of hands on ABAP development, including at least 2 years on S/4HANA\nProven AMS or production support experience, comfortable handling P1 incidents under time pressure\nHands on with ABAP on HANA: Open SQL, CDS views, AMDP, OData services\nWorking knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility: ABAP Cloud, RAP, released APIs, ABAP Development Tools
