Responsibilities include managing hospital inventory and ordering, online pharmacy approvals, coordinating specialty and referral appointments, and assisting with reception and front-desk responsibilities as needed. You will also support clients with questions and essential information regarding their pets' care and our hospital services. Ideal candidates are friendly, detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and thrive in a collaborative veterinary environment.\nSchedule and compensation:\nCompensation: $17-20 per hour, for each hour worked\nThis is a flexible, full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.\nFull-time Benefits Package*:\nHealth package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance\nLife insurance and disability\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\n401k with company match\nPaid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law\nPersonal pet discount\n*Part-time team members may be eligible for limited benefits in accordance with company policy and state law\nMinimum qualifications and skill set:\n1+ years of experience in a veterinary client service, reception, or similar client-facing role within a veterinary or healthcare setting\nProficiency in the following skills:Experience managing inventory, ordering hospital supplies, and maintaining appropriate stock levels\nAbility to manage and process online pharmacy approval requests accurately and efficiently\nExperience coordinating specialty, referral, and outside veterinary appointments, including communicating necessary information between clients, specialists, and the veterinary team\nAbility to assist with reception and front-desk responsibilities as needed, including multi-line phones and in-person client interactions\nExperience working with veterinary practice management software, especially ezyVet, preferred\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to provide compassionate, professional service to clients during both routine and emotionally sensitive situations\nStrong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities\nExperience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars preferred\nAbility to accurately process payments and maintain financial records\nPositive attitude and willingness to collaborate with the veterinary team\nAbility to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented during busy periods\n\nAbout Our Hospital\nWe are a six-doctor, rapidly growing veterinary hospital dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and the families who love them.
