From arrival through departure, you will provide warm welcomes, friendly assistance, and exceptional service while helping ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.\nIn this role, you demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.\nWhat You'll Do as a Front Desk Agent:\nManage the guest registration process, including check-in, check-out, computer use, and key issuance.\nAnswer telephone and courtesy calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.\nProvide guests and owners with information about local activities, dining options, attractions, and resort amenities.\nShare information about the Vacation Interval (VI) program and confirm reservations as requested.\nDispatch guest requests to appropriate departments, including Housekeeping and Engineering, and follow up to ensure completion.\nMaintain and update service request databases and operational records.\nOrganize files and databases while completing accurate data entry and filing.\nHandle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate banking records.\nEncourage guests and owners to complete the \"Your Opinion Counts\" (YOC) survey.\nAssist with additional Front Desk duties as assigned to support daily resort operations.\n What You Will Bring as a Front Desk Agent:\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.\nStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer operations.\nExcellent verbal communication skills, both in person and over the phone.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nSound judgment and professionalism when interacting with guests, owners, and Team Members.\nBasic math skills with experience handling cash and maintaining accurate records.\nStrong customer service skills and a positive, welcoming attitude.\nRequirements:\nMust be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business needs require.\nAbility to occasionally lift and carry 10-25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nWestgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
