Join us and be part of a team that values passion, integrity, and excellence, where your work helps create memories that last a lifetime.\n As a Laundry Maintenance Manager, you will lead the maintenance team responsible for keeping commercial laundry equipment, systems, and facility operations running safely and efficiently. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise, preventive maintenance, project management, budgeting, procurement, and Team Member development.\nIn this role, you demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.\nWhat You'll Do as a Laundry Maintenance Manager:\nManage the maintenance department budget by tracking expenses and overseeing proactive procurement.\nManage the procurement, inventory, and maintenance of tools, equipment, parts, and materials.\nLead and coordinate engineering projects, preventive maintenance, repairs, and daily maintenance operations.\nDevelop and maintain departmental schedules to support continuous laundry operations.\nLead the maintenance team through clear expectations, accountability, training, and performance management.\nLead the Laundry Safety Committee and promote a strong culture of workplace safety.\nMaintain and troubleshoot commercial laundry equipment, including Milnor and Chicago equipment, automated rail systems, pneumatics, and logic controls.\nTroubleshoot and maintain steam, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and low-voltage systems within a commercial laundry environment.\nInspect equipment and facility systems to identify potential issues, safety hazards, and opportunities for proactive repairs.\nUse HotSOS and other technology to document work orders, inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.\nRead and interpret blueprints, technical data, schematics, and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.\nCommunicate professionally with Team Members, leadership, vendors, and other departments through radios, phones, email, and in person.\nPerform general custodial and maintenance duties as needed to support laundry operations.\nPerform additional duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.\n What You Will Bring as a Laundry Maintenance Manager:\nMinimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a commercial laundry environment.\nStrong knowledge of commercial laundry equipment, including Milnor and Chicago equipment, automated rail systems, pneumatics, steam, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.\nHigh school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a maintenance-related field preferred.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment-related issues.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical data, schematics, and O&M manuals.\nStrong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nMinimum of 1 year of computer experience with the ability to use HotSOS and other maintenance technology.\nOSHA Safety Certification preferred.\nValid driver's license required.\nTrade certifications or licenses in refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, or another major trade preferred.\nRequirements:\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to safely work on ladders, scaffolds, lifts, and in confined or tight spaces.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.\nMust be energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with Team Members, leadership, customers, and vendors.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nWestgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
