If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and making a difference every day, this is the role for you.\nIn this role, you demonstrate Westgate's core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction.\nWhat You'll Do as a Lifeguard:\nMonitor pools and water attractions to ensure the safety of all guests.\nEnforce water park and pool rules while promoting a safe and enjoyable environment.\nRespond immediately to emergencies, perform water rescues, and administer first aid and CPR when necessary.\nProvide outstanding guest service by answering questions and assisting guests throughout the water park.\nParticipate in required training, safety drills, and certification programs.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and company safety guidelines.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWhat You Will Bring as a Lifeguard:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAmerican Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications preferred but not required. Paid training and certification are provided prior to starting.\nStrong swimming ability and the ability to react quickly and confidently during emergency situations.\nExcellent communication and customer service skills.\nStrong time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to recognize unsafe conditions and respond appropriately.\nRequirements:\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nValid Florida driver's license required to operate company golf carts.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in lifting or moving over 100 pounds with assistance.\nAbility to work in wet, humid, outdoor environments and prolonged sun and heat exposure.\nMust be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.\nRequired to pass a background check, drug test, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.\nWestgate Resorts is a Smoke and Tobacco-Free workplace.
