Working 40 hours per week, you will report to the Supervisor, Setpoint and Control Systems.\nThis is an opportunity for an engineering contractor supporting Reactor Trip System (RTS) and Engineered Safety Feature Actuation System (ESFAS) Setpoint Uncertainty Analysis, and data / statistical analysis. You will work with numerous subject matter experts in multiple nuclear subsystems to ensure the successful completion of the various tasks.\nYour Day-to-Day:\nPerform and maintain uncertainty analysis using the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approved Westinghouse Setpoint Methodology (WSM) for both AP1000 plants and other domestic nuclear plants.\nPerform statistical / data analyses to examine the instrument performance (drift) over time, and to project performance over a longer time period.\nEnsure that the surveillance extensions are adequately addressed in the setpoint uncertainty analysis.\nScoping and cost estimating the impacts of design changes on existing designs.\nSupport Project Management on schedule creation.\nCompose clear reports on the above tasks for internal and external customers.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering with 10+ years of work experience.\nPrevious knowledge of overall design and operation of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and systems.\nStatistics and data analysis.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nOur Safety Pledge to You:\nIf you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
