These platforms include Windows Server, virtualization, storage, backup, and Active Directory environments, and the Operations Engineer is also responsible for their continuous improvement.\nWorking within a Plan-Build-Run operating model, this hands-on technical role provides incident resolution, platform maintenance, monitoring, and approved change execution to ensure stable and secure production services. You will follow ITIL best practices and service-level commitments while supporting improvements in automation, operational processes, security, resiliency, and service reliability.\nResponsibilities:\nOperational Support & Service Reliability\nMonitor platform availability, health, performance, and capacity, identifying trends and recommending actions to improve service reliability and resiliency.\n\nAddress incident, request, and change tickets through ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to ITIL processes, service-level commitments, and operational standards.\n\nPerform system maintenance, patching, backup validation, disaster recovery readiness activities, and operational support tasks.\n\nInvestigate and resolve operational alerts, service degradations, and infrastructure events while escalating issues.\n\nImplement vulnerability remediation, system hardening, patch compliance, and platform security activities.\n\nAnalyze platform health, use, and operational trends to improve stability, performance, and service availability.\n\nIncident, Problem & Change Management\nPerform technical troubleshooting activities for infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.\n\nCoordinate with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and Service Desk teams to resolve operational issues.\n\nImplement approved operational changes and support Problem Management activities for recurring issues.\n\nSupport cause analyses, post-incident reviews, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions.\n\nService Transition & Operational Readiness\nSupport service transition and operational readiness activities for new or modified infrastructure services, including documentation review, monitoring validation, and knowledge transfer.\n\nReview support procedures, operational documentation, and monitoring requirements to ensure services are supportable.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor of Science or similar applicable degree or equivalent experience\n\n2+ years of IT experience in infrastructure, Windows Server administration, or operations supporting enterprise environments.\n\nHands-on experience with ServiceNow (Incident, Change, Request Management) or equivalent ITSM platform.\n\nMicrosoft or VMware certifications preferred (e.g., VCP, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator).\n\nITIL Foundations and ServiceNow Certification\n\nServer administration and troubleshooting fundamentals.\n\nHands-on support of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, backup, and monitoring platforms.\n\nExperience with patching and remediation activities utilizing SCCM/MECM or equivalent endpoint management technologies.\n\nUnderstanding of vulnerability remediation, system hardening, disaster recovery, and security best practices.\n\nExposure to PowerShell scripting and automation technologies.\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively across Infrastructure, Security, Application, and Service Delivery teams.\n\nCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to service quality and continuous improvement.\n\nWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 9,250 to 11,600 PLN gross per month.
