You will work with a team performing a design activity to prepare the I&C portion of the engineering change packages to replace unit auxiliary transformers and associated monitoring and protection equipment.\nYou will report to the site Manager.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReview manufacturer design drawings,\nDetermine required I/O signals, associated topology, and configuration (with concurrence from Operations, System Engineering, and Electrical Responsible Engineer),\nDetermination and communication of required device configurations and associated topology to the manufacturer,\nFacilitate the development of annunciation device and Integrated Computer System (ICS) alarm configurations (with concurrence from Operations and System Engineer),\nDevelop trip logic diagram modifications (with concurrence from Operations, System Engineer, and Electrical Responsible Engineer),\nEC development and Document Change Notice (Amendment) preparation. IC design inputs include, but are not limited to:\nTransformer instrumentation (pressure, temperature, analyzers) configuration and specifications and related process connections\nExisting and new transformer trip and alarm logic\nExisting I/O to ICS quantity, configuration, and specifications\nNew I/O to ICS via Modbus/TCP quantity, configuration, and specifications\nNew transformer ancillary equipment heat dissipation\nCable/wiring specification and configuration for I/O and network data transfer\nConfiguration of annunciators and alarms\nNetwork infrastructure, capacity, specification, and configuration\nTransformer network infrastructure requirements\nCyber security and critical digital asset protocols (including port access controls)\nHuman factors protocols\nSoftware for transformer monitoring systems\nSystem engineering data requirements for transformer equipment and monitors\nTransformer system equipment installation, testing, and commissioning requirements\nRequired I&C maintenance activities related to transformer equipment\nQualifications:\n5+ years of experience of I&C Engineering with nuclear power plant design, systems, and components\nSpecification, technical, engineering writing experience\nBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.\nUnderstanding of configuration management, requirements management, and V&V concepts.\nKnowledge of statistics and data analysis.\nExperience with data entry and database management.\nYou will pass a preemployment nuclear background, drug screen and fitness for duty.\nOur Safety Pledge to You:\nIf you are as committed to your success as we are committed to your safety, then this is the position for you!
