You will take direction from the APX Sourcing & Procurement Manager and work to deliver cost, quality, delivery, and reliability to reach organizational goals. Support for monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues.\nYou will report to the Manager - AP1000 Electrical Category and be located at our Shoreview, MN facility on a hybrid basis of 2 days a week.\nKey Responsibilities:\nYou will support WBS 6 (Fuel and Material Handling) Teams for the APX department.\nSupport efforts to develop nuclear qualified suppliers and acts as primary liaison between the APX WBS 6 project procurement team and the Shoreview Manufacturing facility. includes travel (10-20%).\nDevelop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply. Identify standard engineering, quality and administrative issues, assisting with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements.\nIdentify and obtain cost improvements of purchased materials and services.\nObtain training and acquire additional knowledge to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and enhance personal growth.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree and Supply Chain Experience required.\n5+ years of relevant experience in project management of major technical projects.\nIn-depth manufacturing, financial, and economic understanding of APX Supply Chain Products\nMajor program leadership experience.\nWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
