We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.\nAbout the role:\nAs a CAE Engineer you will contribute to the selection/development/maintenance of CAD engineering and design tools used within the GOS organization. Work with team members to troubleshoot software issues and develop solutions. Support the population and maintenance of plant data associated with various engineering applications.\nYou will report to the Manager, Computer Aided Engineering and be located at Mannheim.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport CAD Administration Lead in day to day tasks.\nSupport Trimble / TEKLA and AutoDesk suite Administration\nPlan, schedule and execute assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.\nOversee the creation and development of 3D models and related engineering data which capture design information for any of the associated engineering disciplines (CSA, Electrical, Piping, etc.) using various software applications in accordance with established project and quality requirements.\nOversee creation and revision control of drawings derived from 3D models or otherwise created.\nOversee data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data.\nPerform associated software administration tasks, communication with software vendor, approval and review of license usage.\nWork with key stakeholders to develop/establish/maintain interface connections between CAD management tools and other enterprise software solutions for data collection and reporting, such as internally developed applications or other commercially available applications.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil/Structural Engineering\nExperience with various CAD applications, Autodesk, AVEVA, Hexagon based products\nMinimum of 5 years' experience in Trimble/ TEKLA and Autodesk suite of software, including AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Vault administration\nAbility to troubleshoot software issues\nUnderstanding of software development techniques and processes\nStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.\nStrong planning and organizational skills.\nStrong understanding of a wide variety of CAD software applications\nWhy Westinghouse?\nWe know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
