This expert ensures that plant structures meet Polish seismic, geotechnical, and building code requirements while aligning with the original U.S.-based nuclear design.\nThe Civil Engineering Expert will work within the Project Management Team reporting directly to deputy PD.\nResponsibilities:\nCollaborate with engineering partners and subcontractors to validate and adapt U.S.-based civil and structural designs to Polish Civil Construction Law requirements.\n\nReview and support development of structural calculations, analysis models, and compliance documents.\n\nSupport derogation documentation related to structural design elements prepared by local Design Houses.\n\nMaintain alignment with EU structural engineering norms and IAEA siting standards.\n\nExpected interface with local design partner, customer and, regulatory authorities and in-country authorities on building permits and licensing issues.\n\nQualifications:\nMaster's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.\n\nCivil Construction Licence for design and construction (uprawnienia budowlane, projektowe)\n\nMinimum 10 years of structural design or engineering oversight experience.\n\nFamiliarity with Polish Civil Construction Law, seismic/building codes, and EN Eurocode series.\n\nExperience with active execution of at least one large power or industrial project in Poland during last 10 years\n\nFluent Polish and English\n\nNuclear experience would be additional advantage\n\nWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 21,250 to 26,533 PLN gross per month.
