We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.\nAbout the role:\nAs a Contract Manager Nuclear D&R, EMEA you will support complex projects and tenders within the nuclear decommissioning and remediation sector across EMEA.You will support the management, administration and negotiation of high-value contracts throughout the tender and project delivery lifecycle. You will work together with project management, engineering, planning, commercial, finance and legal teams. You will report to the Contract Manager Lead D&D and be located in Europe.\nModel of work: hybrid.\nTravel within the EMEA region, approximately 20%-30% of your time.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the daily contract management of nuclear decommissioning and remediation projects across EMEA.\nReview, interpret and administer contracts based on FIDIC, NEC or similar international contracting frameworks.\nPrepare contractual notices, formal correspondence, change requests, claims submissions and responses.\nMonitor contractual obligations, deadlines, notification requirements and conditions precedent.\nMaintain contract management tools and registers, including:contractual obligations matrices, notice registers, change and variation registers, claims and potential claims registers, assumptions and deviations registers, decision and instruction logs.\nIdentify contractual risks and opportunities and communicate them to project and business leadership.\nSupport the preparation, assessment and negotiation of variations, extensions of time and contractual claims.\nCoordinate the collection and preservation of technical, schedule and cost information required to support contractual positions.\nParticipate in project reviews, risk meetings, change-control meetings and technical and commercial discussions.\nSupport bid and tender processes, including: review contractual conditions, prepare contractual deviations and qualifications, identify important contractual risks and opportunities, coordinate company partner input, support during customer negotiations.\nSupport the flow-down of contractual obligations and risks into subcontracts and purchase orders.\nHelp manage disputes and claims, including the preparation of factual and contractual analyses and coordination with internal or external legal advisers.\nContribute to the implementation of contract management processes, templates and best practices.\nProvide practical contract management guidance to project teams.\nQualifications:\nDegree in law, construction law, commercial management, contract management or a related discipline.\n10+ years of experience in legal, contract management, construction, engineering, energy, infrastructure or another project-based industry.\n8+ years of experience with contractual principles and analyzing complex contractual issues.\nExperience reviewing commercial or construction-related contracts.\nExperience with FIDIC, NEC or similar international contract forms is desirable.\nExperience in construction, infrastructure, energy, industrial or other complex projects.\nPrevious experience in nuclear decommissioning, nuclear projects or another regulated industry is desirable.\nExposure to claims, variations, extensions of time or dispute resolution is desirable.\nExperience with project delivery, change management, project schedules and cost impacts is desirable.\nExcellent written and spoken English. Additional European languages are an asset.\nThis position may be based in multiple European countries. Compensation is location-specific and will be determined in accordance with local market conditions, internal equity, and the candidate's qualifications.
