We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.\nAbout the role:\nAs a Design Engineer you will join our mechanical design team in Mannheim, contributing to the development of specialized, often remotely operated, equipment used for repair processes on nuclear power plant components. You will participate in the full lifecycle of innovative tools and systems-from concept design through testing, qualification, and field deployment.\nYou will report to the Manager NDE & Special Products and be located at Mannheim\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and design concepts and equipment used for the repair of key nuclear power plant components.\nCreate detailed mechanical designs and technical solutions tailored to complex environments\nSupport the development, testing, and qualification of new equipment, including participation in customer reviews and on-site activities.\nContribute to FOAK (First-Of-A-Kind) projects and drive products from prototype to maturity.\nPrepare comprehensive project documentation such as Work Instructions, Development Programs, Test Reports, and Bills of Materials, etc.\nProvide ongoing support for existing products, including troubleshooting, spare parts coordination, technician training, etc.\nContribute to active projects and work closely across departments, sites, and international teams.\nFoster collaboration across countries within the organization.\nQualifications:\nMin. 3 years of experience in development, design and testing of specialized electromechanical equipment.\nGerman in speaking and writing (mother tongue or C2-Level) - required\nEnglish in speaking and writing (min.
