We design these tasks to ensure that project planning, design, implementation, and completion meet the requirements of the commercial and contractual requirements defined within our APx Projects.\nResponsibilities include integration with functional disciplines and project teams.\nThe Senior Project Engineer supports planning/coordination and directs an element of a large project or several smaller projects or tasks.\nYou will report to the Project Engineering Manager and work in a remote based role.\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects, contractual tasks, or associated deliverables assigned\nAssist Project Manager (PM) with all change control processes (e.g., additional scope requests, scheduling)\nWork with the external and internal team members to determine how to satisfy commercial and technical requirements\nSupport execution of assigned tasks and mentor novice engineers\nPartner with PM, and other project and technical functional disciplines\nReview and support delivery of engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions\nQualifications:\nBS degree in Engineering or relevant field\nPrior Westinghouse AP1000 knowledge helpful\n4+ years of experience in engineering roles (design, project, manufacturing, or quality)\nFamiliarity with technical requirement management\nFamiliarity with nuclear industry standards, rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards\nWork with multiple disciplines\nProject management experience helpful\nWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
