We work together to enhance peoples' lives through our products and presence in the communities in which we operate.\nSUMMARY\nTo ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier’s invoices, manage discrepancies between invoices and system purchase orders.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nMay include, but are not limited to, the following:\nSet up accrual listing for various business units during month-end reporting.\n\nFollow SOX compliance with accuracy, control, and efficiency.\n\nReview invoices to ensure approvals are compliant with DOA Coding of non-PO invoices.\n\nCoding variance for 2 and 3 way invoices to purchase orders.\n\nCorrespond with vendors and respond to inquiries regarding discrepancies.\n\nEnsure supplier master records are accurate with change of address or payment terms.\n\nPerform reconciliation of supplier statements.\n\nPrepare accrual listing for Business Units.\n\nWeekly EDI upload as required.\n\nLiaise with internal and external suppliers/customers.\n\nMaintain level of quality consistent with established standards.\n\nComply with established safety rules.\n\nComply with company policy and procedures.\n\nMaintain constructive working relationships with co-workers, supervisors and managers.\n\nMaintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.\n\nOther duties as required.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\n2-3 years AP experience in a high-volume environment.\n\nPost-Secondary degree or diploma in Accounting.\n\nExperience with large ERP JD Edwards preferred.\n\nKnowledge of intermediate to advanced accounting principles.\n\nSuperior written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical problem solving.\n\nIntermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel, word, outlook and various Microsoft Office applications.\n\nExcellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask.\n\nExperience with OCR and workflow preferred\n\nWestlake is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
