We work together to enhance peoples' lives through our products and presence in the communities in which we operate.\nJOB SUMMARY\nUnder the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Electrician is responsible for maintaining, repairing all existing electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLC's while ensuring all company safety rules and policies are followed.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nComply with Company Safety Policies\nMaintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in production areas and troubleshooting PLC's by utilizing ladder diagrams and schematics.\nUtilize troubleshooting techniques to analyze, detect, and determine the nature of a problem, and extent of repairs required\nActively participate in the preventative maintenance program\nPerform Electrical preventative maintenance of electrical control panels and equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety standards\nMaintain inventory of spare parts and supplies by utilizing lean and 5s principles\nFollow and enforce company safety policies and procedures always and operate wide variety of manufacturing tools\nWork with company engineering on electrical upgrade and new equipment installs\nCapable of utilizing mobile equipment: pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, boom lift\nExecute electrical related inspections and report accordingly\nRun conduit and electrically terminate wiring in industrial equipment, interpret input output modules, and operate a variety of tools and equipment in a safe manner\nMust place the upmost importance on working safely, and maintain a safe work environment for self and others, always\nOther duties as assigned\nRegular attendance, timeliness and scheduling flexibility\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nClose attention to detail and organized\nAble to work in a fast-paced environment\nAble to work independently and as a team\nMust be well organized, and able to complete, and perform work orders\nBasic knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC hardware and Software\nBasic knowledge of Siemens PLC hardware and software\nBasic knowledge of Gas burner controls\nGood knowledge of windows Microsoft Office (excel, word, power point, etc.)\nAbility to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and motor controls\nTeam player, reliable and high work integrity\nGood communication skills\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nThe employee should have the following:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade\n1 - 2 years' experience in a relevant field\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe employee should possess the ability to:\nWorking near moving mechanical parts\nLoud noise\nExposure to airborne particles within a manufacturing operation\nLifting heavy materials, up to 50 pounds\nClimb and work occasionally at heights\nGeneral manufacturing environment\nMay require overtime work as necessary\nMust be flexible to work any shift and/or weekends as scheduled\nAbility to stoop, bend, walk, stand, sit, reach and climb\nWill be expected to conduct all assigned tasks scheduled by supervisor\nAbility to move or traverse about the facilities\nAbility to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions\nWear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)\nThis is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
