We work together to enhance peoples' lives through our products and presence in the communities in which we operate.\nSupervisor - Inventory Control\nAbout the Role\nWestlake is seeking a Supervisor - Inventory Control to lead inventory management, receiving, production planning and scheduling, and Product Data Management activities supporting our Marion, Bristol, and Westfield operations. This role provides leadership and direction to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient production planning, strong workflow execution, and the ability to adapt to changing business needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\nKey responsibilities include:\nSupervise inventory control clerks, supply room personnel, and return goods coordinators.\nDevelop and implement inventory control procedures that improve workflow, accuracy, performance, and compliance with company policies.\nLead multi-site inventory management for raw materials, finished goods, and consignment locations.\nOversee cycle counting, month-end inventory, year-end inventory, and related control processes.\nSupport production scheduling and line configuration to maximize throughput, reduce downtime, and meet customer and inventory requirements.\nDevelop annual SKU forecasts and manage related information in JD Edwards.\nMaintain Product Data Management processes, including creation and maintenance of JDE catalog items across branch plants.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory, planning, scheduling, and operational issues.\nProvide coaching, direction, and support to team members to drive accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum of six years of direct inventory management and planning experience in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to turn concepts into actionable plans.\nProven ability to lead through influence across departments and levels of the organization.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.\nExperience with JD Edwards or similar database/ERP systems.\nHigh level of accuracy, attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or similar supply chain designation.\nSix Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement experience.\nCompetitive Pay & Benefits\nBenefits effective day one.\nMedical, dental, and vision coverage.\n401(k) with company match.\nAnnual retirement contribution.\nLife and AD&D insurance.\nPaid vacation.\nTuition assistance program.\nFitness reimbursement program.\nCareer growth and advancement opportunities.\nOur compensation structure reflects the cost of labor across several US markets. The pay range, $85,000 - $110,000 per year, is based on market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, experience, and skillset.
