You will manage plant CAPEX projects and work cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nAnalyze and monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven improvements\nSupport preventive and extraordinary maintenance planning and ensure adequate spare parts availability\nCollaborate with HSE on supplier management, documentation, and compliance with safety regulations\nParticipate in equipment, machinery, and process validation and support troubleshooting of production and quality issues\nAnalyze technical and production KPIs, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions\nContribute to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, including procedures related to safety and environment\nDefine technical, quality, and production specifications for new investments and manage CAPEX projects from budgeting to commissioning\nYOUR QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering\nMinimum 5 years of practical experience ideally in PVC compounding or the chemical industry\nSolid understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance, and control systems\nFamiliarity with PLCs and basic programming logic; knowledge of ISO 13485 is a plus\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, shop-floor oriented mindset\nProficiency in English (spoken and written) and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels\nExperience working with ERP/MES systems (preferably SAP) is an advantage\nIf you are excited about optimizing manufacturing processes in a safety-first, sustainability-focused environment and want to make a tangible impact on our operations, we look forward to receiving your application and inviting you to join our team, where you will benefit from an attractive compensation package with an annual base salary starting at €40K, participation in our Quarterly Incentive Plan (QIP), and daily meal vouchers.\nINTERESTED?\nWe look forward to receiving your full application in English (CV, copies of your qualifications, salary expectations and your earliest possible start date) via our application management system by clicking the ‘Apply’ button.\nABOUT US\nWestlake Global Compounds is a leading global provider of customized solutions for the compounding industry.
