Attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision - available day one!\nSchedule for Night Shift 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM rotating days**\nJOB SUMMARY\nManufacturing support position with responsibilities focused upon optimizing and maintaining production processes to make quality products and reduce scrap.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerform start up on all machines.\nMake process adjustment to fix quality issues.\nBecome familiar with machine / mold adjustments. \nWork with the Process Engineer to ensure best quality parts.\nSet up and verify colors / blends. Trouble shoot and correct color problems.\nUnderstand our basic materials.\nRespond to calls from operators regarding product / process questions and concerns.\nConsistently monitor production quality.\nAssist Process Engineer in special projects material / color trials\nIdentify needed machine, maintenance, and tooling repairs and initiate appropriate work orders.\nParticipate as needed in internal problem solving/improvement group events.\nPreform other duties assigned by Supervisors / Management.\nAbility to communicate with all levels of associates.\nComply with all Company Safety Policies and Procedures\nRegular, reliable attendance, timeliness, and some scheduling flexibility\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nMust understand quality defect standard for all products. Defects such as short shots, flash, warp and off color.\nShould be able to program material ABS units.\nAble to drive a forklift.\nMust be willing to learn new skills and processes to build capabilities such as JDE, DSI, lean manufacturing and six sigma.\nUnderstand basic Excel, Word and Email.\nMust be able to manage a production facility with minimal supervision and communicate all essential manufacturing information to appropriate personnel.\nBe able to run a shift in the Supervisors absence.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE\nThe employee should have the following:\nCertification or training in relevant skills or trade preferred\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n1-2 years' experience in a relevant field preferred\nESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe employee should possess the ability to:\nProlong standing or other stationary positions\nComplete repetitive movements such as typing\nAscend/descend stairs and ladders\nComplete repetitive movements\nWear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, safety shoes, and hardhat as needed.\nBend and/or twist\nLift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds\nMove or traverse about the facilities\nBe exposed to sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable\nWithstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out\nWork around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions\nThis is not necessarily an all-inclusive list of job-related responsibilities, duties, skills, efforts, requirements or working conditions.
