We work together to enhance peoples' lives through our products and presence in the communities in which we operate.\nSUMMARY\nWorking with internal customers from various departments, the Production Coordinator is required to effectively coordinate the production workflow to ensure deadlines are met.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nMay include, but are not limited to, the following: \nExecute Plant Standard Operating Procedures including Extrusion, Fabrication and Slotting into a 4week production schedule for regional assigned plants. Coordinate products transfer for shared production among sites.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Customer Service, Warehouse and Shipping to meet production and customer requirements, including executing schedule changes in coordination with Operationsand Customer Service and working with Customer service to improve on-time deliveries. \nPlanning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.\nWork with plant managers and purchasing to arrange manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.\nEstablish and communicate weekly frozen schedule with Operations.\nScheduling of Make to Order items - includes establishing dates, defining required upcharges or minimum QTY, filling orders to meet required ship dates and advise Customer Service team.\nMaintain inventory target on a monthly basis. Manage safety stocks effectively, account for stock transfer lead time and demand variability. \nWork with S&OP and Capacity analysis team to follow the strategy for long term planning. \nReviewing open orders in ERP system to ensure order fulfillment.\nKnowledge of master data including material master MRP, BOMs, routing and ECN process. \nMonitor and maintain MRP planning parameters for responsible manufactured items.\nEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field\n5 years of supply chain or other relevant experience\nProficient computer skills in MS Excel, Access, Word and Outlook. \nAPICS certification is preferred.\nExperience with SAP/JDE is preferred.\nAble to multi-task and display a high level of company/team spirit in a fast-paced environment\nDemonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
