To learn more, visit the website at WestlakePipe.com and follow us on LinkedIn and Facebook.\nSUMMARY\nResponsible for transfer and storage of finished product as well as loading product for shipment to customers.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nMaintain a safe working environment for employees, customers & carriers.\n\nLoad outbound shipments safely and accurately onto flatbed trailers for shipment.\n\nUnload inbound shipments safely.\n\nResponsible for safe and proper product storage.\n\nCompletes paperwork and reports as needed.\n\nAssists in inventory tracking.\n\nComply with all Company policies and procedures.\n\nCertified as a Forklift Operator with a proven record of safe operation.\n\nUses a variety of tools and instruments to assess, inspect, and move product.\n\nProperly remove completed palletized units from line and transfer to the weight scales.\n\nEnter all weights, generate Hus, print and apply labels on all lifts of finished product.\n\nMust maintain area to be clean and free from safety hazards.\n\nEnter material weights and move product into Datapass and Telnet.\n\nComplete paperwork as required by properly documenting all inventory transitions.\n\nSafely operates powered industrial truck to move product.\n\nThis position is responsible for the care, inspection each shift, and routine maintenance of his or her lift.\n\nThe lift truck operators checklist should be completed before the beginning of the shift and turned into the supervisor by the end of the shift.\n\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\n\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\n\nAbility to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\n\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\n\nThis position is responsible for keeping areas clean and organized as defined by Supervisor.\n\nMust be able to read a tape measure.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS\nForklift Certificated\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The base pay range for this position is $22.00 to $27.50 per hour. This range is based on relevant market data in our lowest and highest geographic markets.
