Carollo’s vision is to be the BEST water consulting firm and you’ll find that Carollo is also the best place for you to build your career.\nResponsibilities\nPerform detailed structural design for water and wastewater treatment facilities by working with other project team members to understand and integrate their requirements into the structural design, coordinating design details between various project design disciplines\nPerform and document calculations, drawing markups for drafting and review calculations\nPrepare reports\nDevelop plans and specifications\nPreparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables\nProvide engineering services during construction\nProvide oversight of junior staff professionals, staff work, and assigned projects\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in the design of structures\nRegistration as a Professional Engineer \nStructural engineering design and detailing skills\nDemonstrated ability in design of concrete and steel structures and foundations\nKnowledge of Structural design codes and standards\nExperienced at preparing construction drawings\nHave the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team\nHighly motivated, articulate, and self-starting\nProficient in MS Word and Excel\nExperience with STAAD or RISA-3D\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferred education includes a Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering\nExperience with ASCE 41 seismic evaluations\nLicensed Structural Engineer\nCompensation Range\n$104,000 to $147,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
