This is a hands-on learning and development role focused on creating and facilitating effective learning experiences for employees, managers, and teams. The Specialist will facilitate 5+ instructor-led and virtual learning classes each month while developing and maintaining learning programs, materials, and resources.\nThis is a hybrid role that requires the candidate be seated in the metro Phoenix area and be able to come into the Phoenix office two days per week.\nResponsibilities\nFacilitates 5+ instructor-led and virtual learning classes each month for employees, managers, and teams, adapting delivery approaches to support learner engagement and understanding.\n\nDesigns, develops, delivers, and maintains learning programs, materials, and resources that support employee and technical development needs.\n\nPartners with subject matter experts to develop, update, and improve technical and employee development training.\n\nCreates and maintains learning curricula and resources for diverse audiences and delivery modalities, with a focus on accessibility, inclusivity, and relevance across roles and departments.\n\nApplies adult learning principles, ADDIE, and the Kirkpatrick model when developing and delivering learning solutions.\n\nSupports the implementation of learning programs by coordinating materials, communications, logistics, and other activities needed for effective delivery.\n\nManages assigned learning projects and activities independently, maintaining quality, organization, and established timelines.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in human resources management, organizational development, business administration or related field preferred; or equivalent years of experience specializing in Human Resources, Training or Organizational Development.\n\nMinimum 3+ years of program coordination, instructional design work and/or working within an internal Learning and Development team.\nExperience with designing, developing, and facilitating training programs.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). \nDemonstrates consistency in character, actions, and outcomes.\nExperience designing and/or delivering employee or technical learning programs.\nExperience facilitating instructor-led and virtual training, with the ability to facilitate 5+ sessions per month.\nWorking knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design practices, including ADDIE and Kirkpatrick.\nExperience collaborating with subject matter experts to develop or improve learning content.\nStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.\nStrong time-management, organization, and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects independently. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.\nExperience with design tools (e.g. Canva). \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere). \nExperience with Training Content authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Camtasia etc.).\nExperience with Articulate strongly preferred.\nInstructional Design certification or experience with creating/editing e-learning content and training materials. \nExperience with facilitating live and virtual learning programs (including to leadership), using tools that support facilitation (Mural, SessionLab). \nExperience supporting a Learning Management system.\nCompensation Range\nAn employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.\nOther Compensation and Benefits\nCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the support employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
