If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.\nResponsibilities\nInterpret contract drawings, shop drawings, contract specifications\nImplement project baseline schedule\nDevelop Detailed Estimate Breakdowns\nGenerate RFIs\nPrepare progress meeting agenda and minutes\nConduct Progress Meetings and Issues and Tasks Meetings.\nConduct daily coordination meetings.\nIdentify Potential Change Orders, Negotiate Change Orders.\nDevelop Engineers Estimate.\nDevelop cost proposal for Change Orders.\nInspector Daily Reports\nPayments\nVet Subcontractors.\nReview shop drawings, EH&S plans, JHAs, EVAP, Construction Waste Management Plans.\nProficient in E- Builder, PM software, AutoCAD, SCADA Systems and MS Office\nReviews construction schedules for compliance with contract documents\nReviews of contractor schedule of values and payment applications\nOverseas timely workflow of construction documentation (submittals, RFIs, clarifications, etc.)\nResponsible for working as a team with the contractor, client, field team and designer\nReport writing\nMentors and trains less experienced construction/field engineers\nInvolved with the team that prepares proposals and conducts interviews\nCultivates client relationships and helps pursue new opportunities\nSome short-term travel may be required\nQualifications\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field\n10+ years of experience including a lead role in $20 million or greater construction value water/wastewater projects\nExperience focused in W/WW infrastructure and treatment plant projects\nNew York State Professional Engineers License is required or the ability to get one in six months \nCompletion of OSHA 10-hour safety course, permit required confined space training, 4 hr. scaffolding, fall protection, call before you dig 811.\nAbility to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and lead engineer/project team, and deliver high quality services within budget and schedule constraints\nHighly motivated self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and be extremely organized\nWorking knowledge of construction management software such as e-Builder, Prolog, Bentley EADOC, Procore, BIM 360, etc.\nWorking knowledge of construction scheduling software including Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project\nWorking knowledge and understanding of construction methods, standards, specifications and plans\nStrong oral and written communications skills\nStrong computer skills\nProficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint\nPreferred Qualifications\nNYCDEP Construction Management experience preferred\nCompensation Range\n$123,000,000 to $225,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
