Position Summary This is an onsite position based in Billings, MT or Colstrip, MT. The Engineering Technician I will support engineering, mine planning, surveying, and operational projects at our mining operation. This position provides technical support to engineering and operations personnel through field data collection, survey assistance, engineering calculations, mine plan updates, technical documentation, and project coordination. The Engineering Technician I will work under the direction of experienced engineering and technical staff to collect, process, verify, and maintain technical information used in mine planning, design, construction, reclamation, and operational decision-making. Supervisor Responsibilities This position will not have supervisory responsibilities over other employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist engineering and mine planning personnel with technical support for mine development, production, reclamation, and infrastructure projects.
