In both the public and private sectors our teams help identify, solve, mitigate, and manage critical environmental issues to help clients achieve a more sustainable future.\nThisEHS Associate Scientist 3role is a dedicated, client-facing position supporting day-to-day Environmental, Heath, & Safety (EHS) activities at a healthcare facility in the Sacramento area. Working onsite as an extension of the client’s EHS team, you will conduct inspections and assessments, support regulatory compliance programs, coordinate corrective actions, prepare documentation, and build effective relationships with the onsite EHS team, employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.The position involves solving routine EHS challenges, preparing reports, and coordinating logistics with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service and building client trust.\nWe are hiring in anticipation of an upcoming project award and expect to fill this position within the next few weeks as project activities ramp up. The role will initially be a temporary position, with the potential to transition to part-time or full-time employment based on project needs and performance.\nLocation: Sacramento,CA\nExpected Outcome:\nConduct facility inspections and hazard assessments across all clinical, laboratory, support, and facilities areas.\nProvide clear documentation of findings and assist with corrective action follow up.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, procedures, and documentation.\nProvide responsive onsite EHS support, research applicable requirements, answer routine compliance questions, escalate complex issues appropriately, and help facility teams implement practical corrective actions.\nDeliver EHS training \nPlan and prioritize work with support from your project manager; coordinate basic project logistics.\nAnalyze data to support decision-making and regulatory interpretation.\nPrepare accurate reports and proposals aligned with quality standards.\nCommunicate professionally with clients, regulators, and internal teams.\nAdhere to company policies and ensure high-quality deliverables.\nMay require travel, use of PPE, and work in physically demanding or hazardous environments.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nBachelor’s degree in science/engineering or equivalent experience.\n4-6 years of relevant EHS experience;
