In both the public and private sectors our teams help identify, solve, mitigate, and manage critical environmental issues to help clients achieve a more sustainable future.\nThe Opportunity\nWeston is seeking an experienced EHS Consultant with an Industrial Hygiene focus to support a growing portfolio of clients throughout the Bay Area.\nThis role is ideal for an EHS professional who enjoys a balance of fieldwork, industrial hygiene assessments, client consulting, and technical problem-solving. You will work directly with clients across a variety of industries, including biotechnology, healthcare, laboratories, technology, manufacturing, and commercial facilities, helping them identify workplace hazards, strengthen EHS programs, and maintain regulatory compliance.\nUnlike many corporate EHS positions, this role offers exposure to a wide range of clients, projects, and work environments, providing opportunities to continually expand your technical expertise and consulting skills.\nWhat You'll Do\nIndustrial Hygiene & Exposure Assessments\nConduct industrial hygiene assessments and exposure monitoring for chemical, physical, and ergonomic hazards.\nDevelop and implement sampling plans for workplace exposure assessments.\nPerform air monitoring, noise assessments, and other industrial hygiene evaluations.\nEvaluate workplace conditions and recommend practical solutions to reduce employee health and safety risks.\nAnalyze sampling results, field, and compliance data and prepare technical reports and recommendations\nEnvironmental Health & Safety Consulting\nDevelop, implement, and improve EHS programs, procedures, and management systems.\nConduct facility inspections, compliance audits, and risk assessments.\nProvide regulatory guidance related to OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and local requirements.\nSupport clients with incident prevention, hazard mitigation, and regulatory compliance initiatives.\nAssist with safety programs including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, Emergency Response, and related programs.\nTraining & Client Partnerships\nDeliver EHS training on a variety of occupational health and safety topics.\nPartner with client personnel to implement EHS initiatives and corrective actions.\nServe as a trusted advisor by providing onsite EHS support and technical guidance.\nBuild strong client relationships through responsive service and practical problem-solving.\nProject Support\nCoordinate project logistics and communicate project status with clients and internal teams.\nSupport project managers while developing project management and consulting skills.\nSupport proposal development and project documentation.\nTeam Development\nMentor junior staff and support their professional growth.\nContribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality, safety, and client success.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n4+ years of Environmental Health & Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene experience.\nExperience conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and compliance evaluations.\nStrong technical writing, data analysis, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently at client facilities and manage multiple priorities.\nValid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the Bay Area.\nPreferred Qualifications\nConsulting experience supporting multiple clients or projects.\nIndustrial hygiene sampling and exposure assessment experience.\nExperience supporting biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, laboratory, manufacturing, or technology environments.\nKnowledge of OSHA, EPA, and California regulatory requirements.\nProfessional Certifications\nWeston supports employees pursuing professional certifications and encourages candidates working toward credentials such as:\nCertified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)\nAssociate Safety Professional (ASP)\nCertified Safety Professional (CSP)\nAssociate Ergonomics Professional (AEP)\nCertified Professional Ergonomist (CPE)\nWork Environment & Travel\nWork will be performed at client facilities, Weston offices, and remote locations depending on project needs.\nRegular local travel throughout the Bay Area is expected.\nProjects may involve healthcare facilities, laboratories, biotechnology environments, manufacturing sites, technology campuses, and other commercial facilities.\nUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.\nOccasional work in physically demanding or hazardous environments may be necessary.\nWe fully invest in our people: Weston provides a generous, comprehensive benefits package program that offers employees high value options with solid financial protection, meeting the personal needs of its people and their families.\nMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K with base and matching employer stock contributions.\nPaid time off including personal, holiday, and parental leave.\nLife and disability plans.\nCritical illness and accident plans.\nWork/Life flexibility.\nProfessional development opportunities.\nCompensation\nThe base salary range for this position for candidates located within 50 miles of the California Bay Area is $90,000-$120,000 Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions, in accordance with California law.\nSalary Range: $57,189 -
