This role supports air quality engineering and compliance projects for industrial clients nationwide, with a focus on permitting, modeling, andregulatory compliance. The position requires that the applicant have a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, be technicallyproficientin adhering to engineering standards, and be able to consistentlydeliver within project scope, schedule, and budget.\nLocation: Edison, NJ\nExpected Outcomes:\nPrepare and support air quality permittingin multiple states, including PSD, NNSR, Title V, synthetic minor, and true minor permits. \nPerform emissions calculations, engineering analyses, and evaluations of control equipment performance and operating parameters. \nPrepare modeling protocols for agency approval and conduct air dispersion modeling using AERMOD, CALPUFF, and screening tools. \nAnalyze and validate technical data, resolving discrepancies to produce accurate, review-ready resultsand reports, including stack test reports. \nMaintain complete and accurate project documentation and deliverables within scope, schedule, and budget. \nCommunicate project progress, risks, and constraints proactively with internal teams and clients.\nDeliver high-quality, compliant technical work products aligned with regulatory and client expectations. \nFoster relationships between clients and regulatory agencies in multiple states.\nContribute to team performance and continuous improvement of air quality services. \nSupport environmental compliance across multiple media, including SPCC, stormwater, EPCRA Tier II/TRI, and hazardous waste. \nMaintain confidentiality and adhere to all safety policies and OSHA requirements. \nStay current on environmental regulations, technologies, and industry best practices.\nSupport environmental compliance across multiple media, including SPCC, stormwater, EPCRA Tier II/TRI, and hazardous waste. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nLicensed Professional Engineer (PE), preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university. \n8-15years of experience in air quality permitting and environmental compliance. \nExperience in preparing air permit applications, with Title V experience preferred.\nExperience working with state and local air agencies, with multi-state experience preferred. \nStrong understanding of air permitting regulations, emissions calculations, and control technologies. \nProficiency in air dispersion modeling tools such as AERMOD and CALPUFF is preferred. \nWorking knowledge of multi-media environmental compliance programs, including SPCC, stormwater, EPCRA Tier II/TRI, and hazardous waste. \nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. \nHigh attention to detail and commitment to technical accuracy. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. \nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with the ability to support and mentor junior team members.\nWe fully invest in our people:Weston provides a generous,comprehensive benefits package program that offers employees high value options with solid financial protection, meeting the personal needs of its people and their families.\nMedical, Dental, Vision, 401K with base and matching employer stock contributions.\nPaid time off includes personal, holiday and parental.\nLife and disability plans.\nCritical illness and accident plans.\nWork/Life flexibility.\nProfessional development opportunities.\nCompensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.\nSalary Range: $81,549 -
