Working across business and technology teams, you'll drive platform innovation, engineering excellence, and the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable data solutions that support critical business outcomes.\nYou will:\nOwn and deliver the data platform roadmap and capability strategy.\nLead engineering teams responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise data platforms.\nDrive delivery of cloud-based data platforms, trusted data products, and analytics capabilities.\nPartner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans.\nOversee prioritisation, delivery governance, risk management, and operational performance.\nChampion engineering best practices, automation, DevSecOps, DataOps, and continuous improvement.\nEnsure data governance, security, compliance, and platform reliability standards are met.\nManage team capacity, vendor relationships, budgets, and financial planning activities.\nCollaborate closely with Architecture, Security, Operations, and Delivery teams to achieve strategic outcomes.\nWhat do I need?\nWe're looking for an experienced technology leader with a strong background in modern data platforms and engineering delivery.\nYou'll ideally bring:\nExperience leading enterprise-scale data platform delivery and transformation programs.\nStrong knowledge of cloud data technologies, data engineering practices, and platform modernisation.\nExperience with platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, data lakes, and data warehousing solutions.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex technology initiatives.\nStrong stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and financial management skills.\nExperience with Agile delivery methodologies and product ownership practices.\nUnderstanding of data governance, security, risk, and compliance requirements.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nWhy join us?\nWe’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
