The role combines MongoDB administration and operations with hands-on application development experience. You will help new initiatives onboard to MongoDB, guide development teams on data modelling, schema design and query optimisation, and provide practical troubleshooting support for production issues. Experience with MongoDB Atlas is preferred but not essential.\nWhat do I need?\nHands-on experience developing applications that use MongoDB, including data modelling, schema design, indexing and query optimisation.\nStrong experience administering and supporting MongoDB environments, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and replication.\nProgramming experience in one or more languages commonly used with MongoDB, such as Java, Python, Node.js or C#.\nExperience supporting development teams through onboarding, solution design, testing and production issue resolution.\nGeneral platform engineering experience, such as automation, scripting, CI/CD, and working with cloud or containerised environments.\nWorking knowledge of database activities including bulk data loading and data migration.\nExperience with MongoDB Atlas is preferred but not essential.\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to give practical guidance to delivery teams.\nWhy join us?\nWe’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal.
