Thank you\n\nVolunteer: Project Manager, Human Resources - This is a remote un-paid/volunteer role (within the US)\nJoin the WeVote MovementWeVote has an open volunteering position for a Project Manager, Human Resources (~5 hours per week) who wants to use their existing skills and learn new skills while helping strengthen American Democracy. \nAbout UsWeVote is a nonpartisan get-out-the-vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. WeVote is a movement of over 120 passionate volunteers (starting with the founders) who are building open-source mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. We observe that many voters are busy, distracted, and impatient. We are a 100% remote organization.\nWhat You’ll Do\nRun weekly Agile meetings for the HR team\n\nLearn how to do all of our onboarding tasks so you can coach other team members on these skills, and do some of the onboarding tasks yourself\n\nFacilitate communication within the team, and with other WeVote teams:Marketing Strategy, Marketing Social, Newsletter Team, Analytics & Ads, Research Team, Internship Program, Recruiting\n\nWork with individuals on the team to find tasks that fit each team member's skill level\n\nReview work product from the team and propose strategies for improving efficiency\n\nSupport and track all team member’s OKRs and Key Results. Train team members unfamiliar with OKRs.\n\nFollow up with contributors as their deadlines approach, adjust schedules, and communicate changes to everyone else affected by delays\n\nProvide brief reports in meetings via email and in our team newsletter about the status of key projects\n\nWho you are: Must-haves.\nAt least 1 hour each week during our core team hours M-F 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your time zone\n\nAttend the HR weekly team meeting: Thursdays at 4:00pm Pacific Time (5:00pm Mountain, 6:00pm Central, 7:00pm Eastern)\n\nYou want to work with an established and successful team.
