Join us as we empower tomorrow’s world at work.\nAbout The Opportunity\nWe are looking for an Accounting Senior Associate to join our Latam Accounting team at our amazing Bogotá HQ. In this role, you will:\nLatin America Month-End Close Support: Participate actively in the regional month-end close process for Latin America entities, ensuring timely execution and reporting accuracy.\nFinancial Statement Review & Consolidation: Review, analyze, and support the consolidation of local financial statements for Colombia and Peru, ensuring alignment between Local GAAP and US GAAP.\nVariance Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed Month-over-Month (MoM) expense and balance sheet variance analyses, providing thorough management commentary on key drivers.\nP&L Variance Analysis: Perform a comprehensive monthly review and analysis of the overall P&L, identifying trends, investigating unexpected fluctuations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve anomalies\nOutsourcing Management: Act as the primary contact and bridge for external accounting outsourcers in Colombia and Peru, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.\nVariable Rent Calculations & Compliance: Support the calculation of variable rent (waterfall calculations) for Landlords under alternative leasing operations and ensure full accounting and contractual compliance.\nAudit & Compliance Support: Support internal and external audit requests (Revisoría Fiscal, Statutory Audits) and prepare working papers for any required corrections or explanations.\nExpense Accounting & AP AR Oversight: Support corporate expense accounting processes (accruals, prepayments) and review AP/AR sub-ledgers across assigned entities.\nAbout You\nDoes the below sound like you? If so, we’d love to hear from you!\nQualified Accountant (active professional card in Colombia required).\nMinimum 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in multinationals or Big 4.\nStrong understanding of Local GAAP (Colombia & Peru), US GAAP, and experience in multi-entity month-end close processes across South America.\nStrong experience in financial statement review, consolidation concepts, and deep variance analysis.\nAdvanced Excel skills are a must for complex reconciliations and data modeling.\nFamiliarity with corporate ERPs (Workday is a plus).\nAbility to communicate effectively and drive deliverables with external accounting outsourcers.\nLogic, solving financial puzzles, and crisp reconciliations drive your work.\nIntermediate level of English.\nLife At WeWork\nBeing a WeWorker is more than just a job.
