In this role, you will design and build scalable APIs, backend services, and data pipelines that power our next-generation fleet and payments platforms. You’ll work on Moving Legacy Financial systems (ERP) to Microservice based Hybrid system and operational insights - all while modernizing legacy workflows into cloud-ready architectures.\nYou’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team to develop secure, maintainable software in a DevOps environment, utilizing modern event-driven and microservices architectures. This role offers an opportunity to influence and implement technical strategy while working alongside experts in APIs, Kafka, Python, and cloud technologies.\nHow you’ll make an impact\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain robust full-stack solutions with an emphasis on APIs, microservices, Kafka and backend systems.\n\nWork with streaming data, including real-time event processing using Kafka or similar technologies.\n\nBuild automation for Change Data Capture (CDC) and data synchronization pipelines using JSON-based services.\n\nParticipate in agile ceremonies and own the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).\n\nCollaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.\n\nProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve critical production issues as needed.\n\nExperience you’ll bring\nBS in computer science or related fields\n\n6 years+ hands-on experience developing applications/microservices with Java/Python/Kafka.\n\n3 years+ hands-on experience with REST API development.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nProficiency in backend languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.\n\nExperience designing and building RESTful APIs.\n\nHands-on experience with Apache Kafka or similar event streaming platforms, SMS and Dead letter Queues.\n\nStrong knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC) strategies and implementation.\n\nFamiliarity with JSON, XML, and other data interchange formats.\n\nSolid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, Snowflake).\n\nExperience working in Unix/Linux environments and scripting (e.g., shell, Python).\n\nWorking knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and source control tools (e.g., Git).\n\nNice to Have (Bonus Qualifications)\nExposure to Financial Platforms like (PeopleSoft, EBS,SAP) -
