Your future starts here.\nAbout the Team/Role: As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work alongside engineers and Product Managers to solve real-world business challenges. You will gain hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure, full-stack development, and AI-driven workflows.\nHow you'll make an impact:\nShip Full-Stack Features: Develop backend services in .NET and build user interfaces using React.\n\nWork in the Cloud: Deploy and support applications hosted on Microsoft Azure.\n\nLeverage AI Tools: Accelerate learning, debugging, and task execution using modern AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Augment).\n\nLearn & Collaborate: Receive mentorship from senior engineers while gaining real-world experience in a fast-paced environment.\n\nExperience you'll bring:\nEducational Foundation: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degreein Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or related field and will have completed at least your Sophomore year of school at the start of the internship.\n\nEntry-level/foundational coding experience with .NET for backend development and React for front-end UI.\n\nBasic familiarity with Microsoft Azure or general cloud concepts.\n\nExposure to or curiosity about AI tools (such as Cursor or Augment) to speed up development tasks.\n\nEagerness to learn, adapt, and build quality code during the internship.\n\nThe base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
