WGM Group has an opportunity for a Civil Engineering Intern for summer 2027 in our Kalispell office.\nWGM Group is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary engineering firm including, planning & design, survey, environmental and natural resource management. As an intern, you will be sure to get exposure to a variety of project types and disciplines to help you grow and expand your knowledge.\nRole & Responsibilities:\nAssist on projects involving civil engineering tasks, planning, and design.\nProduce redlines on engineering documents using Civil3D.\nProvide survey support as a field crew member completing grade stake computations and marking.\nPerform construction observation and infrastructure testing for water and sewer.\nAssist in the preparation of cost estimate quantities. \nConduct traffic counts.\nMaintain project files and databases.\nSupport development of reports, calculation packages, and specifications.\nDepending on experience, may assist with designing plans for a wide range of projects including public capital improvement projects, commercial sites, and subdivisions.\nQualifications:\nAs a valued member of our engineering team, you will have at a minimum:\nCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to perform in a deadline-driven environment.\nProactive and willing to take on new challenges.\nExperience in AutoCAD Civil3D a plus.\nCompensation & Benefits Package:\nWGM Group promotes a healthy work-life balance, offering both flexible and hybrid work schedules.
