Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.\nPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:\nWe are seeking a seasoned BOD “Basis of Design” Engineer with deep experience in semiconductor tool integration and facilities design. \nThis engineer will partner closely with Equipment Engineering (EE) Tool Owners to gather important design information for new tool installs and walk tools onsite, assess demolition and upgrade requirements, and help define how existing infrastructure will be replaced or modified for upgrades.\nThis role is critical to the creation of Facilities Data Sheets (FDS) and involves assisting design in validating point-of-use (POU) utility connections, ensuring line length distances meet spec, and confirming proper sizing for regulators and flow/pressure parameters. \nThe engineer will interpret and adapt supplier design documentation to meet site-specific configuration needs, using 2D design tools\n Requirements:8+ years of experience in semiconductor facility or tool install engineering\nStrong design background with direct tool walkdown experience\nAbility to work with EE Tool Owners to define demo and upgrade scopes\nProficiency in validating flow rates, pressure drops, and regulator sizing\nExperience reviewing and verifying POU utilities and line length specs before FDS creation\nSkilled in interpreting supplier documentation and translating it to site-specific requirements\nProficient with 2D design tools used to generate Facilities Data Sheets (FDS)\n Preferences:Experience in high-volume manufacturing or fab environments\nFamiliarity with semiconductor facility systems and tool hook-up processes\nUnderstanding of construction coordination and tool install timelines\nKnowledge of AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software\nExperience working with cross-functional teams (Facilities, EHS, Tool Install, etc.)\nPhysical Effort/Activities:\nMay be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
