You will be the Group's dedicated Systems Administrator: keeping Microsoft 365, Azure, our network and our devices secure and running smoothly, and making sure every IT issue is seen through to resolution.\nWhat you will do\nMicrosoft 365 and identity\nAdminister Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD): users, licences, groups, conditional access and MFA\n\nManage Exchange Online: mailboxes, mail flow rules, mail security and DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)\n\nLook after SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive permissions and structure\n\nInfrastructure and security\nManage Azure resources, backups and recovery, and keep cloud costs under control\n\nRun network, firewall and VPN administration across our sites, including WatchGuard\n\nManage endpoint security, patching and device management, and act on security alerts\n\nCarry out regular system and security audits, and support our ISO 27001 controls\n\nSupport and service\nOwn the IT service desk: log, prioritise and resolve user issues end to end\n\nFind the root cause of recurring problems and fix them for good\n\nKeep the IT asset register, licences and supplier contracts up to date\n\nWrite clear documentation and train staff on new tools and good security habits\n\nContribute to IT projects, upgrades and the onboarding of new Group companies\n\nWhat you will bring\nEssential\nAt least 7 years' experience in IT systems administration\n\nExcellent written and spoken English\n\nStrong, hands-on skills in Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online and SharePoint\n\nWindows desktop and server administration\n\nNetwork troubleshooting: routers, firewalls, VPNs, DNS and Wi-Fi\n\nA track record of owning problems through to resolution, working independently\n\nA reliable home workspace with a stable broadband connection and backup power\n\nDesirable\nMicrosoft certifications such as Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102)\n\nCybersecurity knowledge and ISO 27001 experience\n\nPowerShell scripting and automation\n\nExperience with Azure virtual machines, Intune, IP phone systems\n\nExperience in a managed service provider (MSP) or multi-site environment\n\nWork location: the role is remote to start.
